WW1

By Dom Bouffard

Commissioned and produced by hr2

In a voyage through industrial tornados and sonic wastelands, the words of Lawrence, Lichtenstein, Apollinaire and Rilke fuse and react with dark waves of noise, cut-ups, rock’n’roll and dada in an abstract sound-work, composed, produced & directed by Dom Bouffard. It was commissioned by Peter Liermann at Hessischer Rundfunk, Germany and first broadcast on hr2 in 2015. It reached the final round of 2015's Karl-Sczuka-Preis and was nominated for the 2016 Kriegsblinden Preis.
